Improv Connection NYC
Improv got me through the most traumatic times of my life, the loss of my parents and several close friends. I touched into a healing reservoir of creativity and humor that I believe all human beings possess. I started teaching Improv when I left my Social Work job and have been teaching in NYC, Europe and other places in the U.S since then. The venues in which I’ve taught include Parsons School of Design in the Visual Culture classes, Hunter College, School of Social Work and abroad.
I always start with Mindfulness Meditation to bring people into the moment, then we ease into Improv Movement, then playful, creativity stimulating Improv Theater Games, then finally short scenes.
